Under a perfect desert sun
On the sand I will stand
I hear the echo of your voice from afar
But I decided that I do not care.
And it is a gray afternoon
Even though the night is black
And the white dunes skip along the crystal heat
My face is drunk on skincare, yet it is still thirsty
and the bright red sun has moved to my limbs
never had I ever felt so vulnerable before.
This used to be my home
but that seems to have happened centuries ago.
Now I am not that woman. I lost myself im the mountain and my desert left.
